If you are new to CC Online, you will probably want to get as much information about the program as you can. This page is a good starting point.

What is an online class?

CC Online courses are NOT self-paced and require students to be self-reliant to keep up with the pace of an online course. Are you ready to learn online?

Once you've decided that online learning is for you, go through this Online Checklist to learn more about what will be required of you as a CC Online student, some of the Minimum Requirements, information on ordering books and materials and the First Time Login process.

Which classes are offered online?

The CC Online class schedule is arranged alphabetically by course name and by start date. You can also click on the name of the course on the schedule page to see specific information on that course. The class schedule also contains a column to let you know how many seats are left in each class, and, if this is zero, how to get onto the Waiting List.

How do I register for online classes?

The Admissions process is described in detail on the Admissions Page. 24 hours after you've submitted the online application, you can log into the My BanWeb Page, using your social security number (without the dashes) and birth date (mmddyy). The system will ask you to change your pin the first time you use it. Click on "Student and Financial Aid" and then on "Registration" to register for a class. You will be asked for the CRN number of the class you want to take (you will also have an option to look it up).

How do I access my online class?

At CC Online, it is the student's responsibility to access the class when it starts. The First Time Login process, described on the First Time Login page, will show students how to obtain the Username and Password for each CC Online class they are enrolled in.

How do I order my textbooks or other materials for my online class?

You can order textbooks and other materials you need for your online classes from the Cerro Coso Book Nook or from other online suppliers. The Book Nook page contains a listing of the CC Online textbooks.
