Associate of Arts

Program Description

The Humanities major is designed for students with a broad interest in the Humanities and can be completed by taking a combination of courses in Art Drama, Foreign Languages, Literature, Music and Philosophy. This major consists of at least 18 units of required course work. 

Associate Degree (A.S.) Major Requirements

Students pursuing this degree from Cerro Coso Community College should be advised to select from the following courses offered. Please Note: Additional courses may be required for a degree that are not included in this list. Please carefully consult the College Catalog and confer with a counselor to verify degree requirements.

Select at least one course completed in four of the six concentration areas listed below. At least one studio/performance course, indicated by an asterisk(*), must be included.
