Associate of Science

Program Description:

(60 units total, 31 units in the major) COMPUTER INFORMATION SYSTEMS (CIS) ASSOCIATE OF SCIENCE DEGREE is designed for students pursuing professional employment in computer information systems for business. Students are prepared to pursue a career in network, systems, or database administration; technical and applications support; and computer programming. Designed for both full and part-time students, this program is appropriate to both those currently employed and those seeking to enter this field. Students completing the CIS AS degree are prepared to transfer to a Baccalaureate program in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems or related programs.
