CC Online Certificate in Online Teaching

Certificate Description

Cerro Coso's Certificate in Online Teaching offers a unique opportunity to learn about online teaching in a practical, hands-on environment. This program is specifically designed to assist faculty in the development and implementation of best practices in online course delivery. Participants are introduced to a wide variety of instructional technologies using current educational research as a foundation. The entire certificate can be completed in a little over a typical semester. All courses are taught by experienced online instructors and presented in a consistent environment. Access to the internet and a Windows or Macintosh computer capable of running current browsers and other software is required for participation in the program.

A total of 8 units are required for the Certificate Program. Four courses are required to teach only for CC Online - INST C261, EDUC C262, EDUC C263 and INST C269.
