SPAN C101 Course Information

Course Description

(A/UC/CSU)

This course is an introduction to the Spanish language where students will learn basic grammar and vocabulary for speaking, reading, understanding and writing at the beginning level as well as learning about the culture and civilization of the Spanish-speaking world. The emphasis of the course is on communication and preparation for advanced reading and composition skills. (Prerequisite: ENGL C070 with a grade of "C" or better, Level 1 reading and Level 1 writing) Formerly SPAN C1.
