FILM C211 Course InformationCourse Description(A/UC/CSU)This class will study Hispanic civilization and culture through films, videos and documentaries. There will be analysis, discussion, and written critique of selected films from Spain and Latin America and the United States. The emphasis is on issues of multiculturalism and diversity as illustrated by the films. This course will focus on topics such as race, prejudice and discrimination, classism, and gender issues. Films are subtitled, no knowledge of Spanish is required.
