CHDV C121 Course Information

Course Description

(A/CSU)

This course will discuss health and safety issues in early childhood education and family child care settings. Topics include pediatric first aid and CPR, preventative health practices, control of infections disease, injury prevention, nutrition, sanitation, emergency preparedness, child abuse, and children with special needs. (Prerequisite: None. Advisory: Level 1 reading, level 1 writing classification recommended.) Formerly CHDV C53a.
