SPAN C101 Course Information

Course Description

(A/UC/CSU)

This is an introductory course where students learn basic grammar and vocabulary for speaking, reading, understanding and writing at the beginning level as well as learn about the culture and civilization of the Spanish-speaking world. (Advisory: Level 1 reading and level 1 writing or ENGL C070 with a grade of "C" or better.) Formerly SPAN C1.

Special Requirements: The student must be available to submit all course work online (assignments, quizzes and exams).
Assignments & Tests: There will be assignments and quizzes to submit online on a regular basis. Exams are taken on different scheduled dates. They are activated for 48 hours.
Proctored Exams: No
Additional Comments: Since this is a five unit class, the student is required to have good study skills in order to complete the class successfully.
