CHDV C281 Course InformationCourse Description(A/CSU)This course addresses the various components of supervision in the early childhood field from the perspective of administration and mentor teaching. Emphasis is on leadership, advocacy, mentoring, and collaborating in a child care environment to develop positive relationships with staff, families, and children. Students are required to observe supervisors currently working in license and licensed-exempt programs in their community. This course satisfied the adult supervision requirement for the Master Teacher level of the Child Development Permit. (Prerequisite: None. Advisory: Read Level 1, Writing Level 1.)
