CHDV C251 Course Information

Course Description

(A/CSU)

Students are introduced to the principles, techniques and methods for the efficient administration of child development programs. Topics covered include: budgeting, personnel leadership and management, health and safety, facility design and layout, and regulations including Title 5 of the California Education Code, Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations and California Health & Safety Code. Students are required to observe licensed or license-exempt programs in their community. (Prerequisite: None. Advisory: Reading Level 1, Writing Level 1.) Formerly CHDV C57a.
