SPCH C101 Course Information

Course Description

(A/UC/CSU)

In this speech course for transfer to four-year institutions, students learn to make effective oral presentations by gathering and selecting information, arranging materials, analyzing audience and occasion, and controlling expression and delivery.  (Prerequisite: None.) Advisory: Level 1 Reading, Level 1 Writing.

Requires 4 on-campus meetings (IWV - Ridgecrest, CA): This is a Hybrid class with an online learning component. Both on-site and online participation is required. Class will meet in Ridgecrest, CA at the IWV campus; dates and times to be supplied by the instructor. REQUIRED MEETING DATES.

NOTE: Be aware your instructor will ONLY contact you using your school generated email (@email.cerrocoso.edu, @email.bakersfieldcollege.edu, or @email.portervillecollege.edu). Check your school email early and often.
