This hands-on computer course is designed to provide an intermediate
understanding of spreadsheets. Learn how to analyze data through list
management, using autofilter, sort and pivot table features. Work with
multiple worksheets and workbooks, and then create a shared workbook,
resolve conflicts, and track changes. Finally, plan and prepare an
application using Excel's data validation feature and button creation using
macros. This course completes topics required in preparation for the core
level Microsoft Excel Office Specialist certification exam. (Prerequisite:

Assignments & Tests: Assignments are on-going throughout the class; we will do assignments each week, that are due at the end of each week of the class. There will be a final at the end of the class, which will showcase the skills you have learned in the class.

You are taking advantage of the opportunity to work at home on your own schedule within an eight-week time block. This course assumes that you have basic computer knowledge, including file management, Internet and e-mail experience.
