This is a hands-on microcomputer course designed to provide a basic understanding
of Microsoft PowerPoint. Topics to be covered include planning, creating,
editing, viewing and printing. This course prepares the student to take the
core level Microsoft PowerPoint Office Users Specialist certification exam.

Special Requirements: MS PPT 2007 software on your pc preferred; 2003 acceptable but no earlier versions are acceptable.
Assignments & Tests: Assignments will be given weekly with deadlines at the end of each week. A final exam will be given the last week of the class to showcase what you have learned during the course.

You are taking advantage of the opportunity to work at home on your own schedule within an eight-week time block. This course assumes that you have basic computer knowledge, including file management, Internet and e-mail experience. Online classes are as demanding as on-campus classes. Students are expected to meet weekly assignment deadlines.
