CHDV C202 Course InformationCourse Description(A/CSU)
This course is an introduction to the philosophy, history, and techniques of
child development programs. Students will work in a supervised field
experience planning learning experiences and developing teaching materials
appropriate to the physical, cognitive, and socio-emotional growth of the
young child. Placements will be made in infant/toddler, preschool, or
school-age programs. Proof of tuberculosis (TB) clearance required prior to
placement. (Prerequisite: 9 units of core CHDV courses: one developmental
course (CHDV C101, C105, or C107); CHDV C115; one curriculum course (CHDV
