in health career programs. Emphasis is on the structure and function of
human cells, tissues, organs and organ systems. Human development and
heredity are also covered.

Skill Level: This class requires a great deal of memorization, so you will need a strong dedication and self-motivation to succeed in this class. This class is more appropriate for the Allied Health student (example: Pre-Nursing) than for the average General Education student.
Special Requirements: You must have the textbook by the first day of class.
Assignments & Tests: There will be text summaries and quizes for each of the 20 chapters in the text, as well as 3+ proctored exams during the term.
Additional Comments: This class requires a large commitment from you. Before taking this class you should decide if you have the time and energy to commit to this course.
