SOCI C101 Course Information

Course Description

(A/UC/CSU)

This course introduces and clarifies concepts and research findings of contemporary sociology; understanding human groups such as the family, the playgroup, the work group, social class, institutions, mass behavior and culture. Discussion is centered on the effects of social change in an industrial society. (Prerequisite: None. Advisory: Level 1 Reading, Level 1 Writing.)
