Human Relations in Business

(A/CSU)

3 Units, 54 hours lecture

Using a behavioral science approach, students will gain an understanding of the business environment. Emphasis will be placed on self-improvement through self-understanding, elements of job applications and job advancement, motivation, people-to-people relationships, effective communication, and techniques of leadership on the job. Case studies, experiential exercises, and group projects will be used to assist the students in understanding the material and developing self-awareness. (Prerequisite: BSAD C100, Level 1 reading, Level 2 writing classification recommended.) Formerly BSAD C40.
